I've found out that archery is just as joyous to do. So I'm kinda not looking forward to that. So I can't fight - fair enough - it took me a while to learn fighting in Mount and Blade - but at least there were people you could practice fighting in that game. Scum Saving and fighting the Cummin immediately after the quest Run! starts is a good way of getting practice at the game's controls - but you just die - virtually instantly. You can't learn anything - or at least I couldn't. Fighting the soldiers when making your way back to Skalitz is just as bad. And then you have to restart a long way back. But that's just as frustrating as everything else in this - otherwise beautiful game. I love the NPC interactions and the story and the characters and the dialogue. It's just the mount and blade style parts are horrible. I'm happy that I've discovered that you can mod a proper save option into the game. And I'm delighted you can mod lock picking kinda out of the game. If there is just a couple of frustrating bits like the horses, melee and archery, then that's OK - it's a shame that the mods can't sort of help without removing things. #Kingdom come deliverance lockpicking mod mods# But I'm going to need some sort of mod for the combat - because at the moment.
